spog means

sticking with your lifetime during the creation of your art

each piece could not be possible without the one before

each piece could not be possible without the members of society who have routines to bring you what you need to make your art

spog is not forgetting the truckers and the factory workers and the people stocking the shelves. the people that made the boxes needed to ship.

we are all one as we are all uniquely each other

i don’t want to sign my work as elliott sharpe i want to sign my work as spog

i am saying hey i don’t think it would be possible for me to be doing what i am doing without the entire support of the earth and the circumstances that currently exist and to those forces i am eternally grateful.

it’s like. while the word itself isn’t my identity, spog is the identity of my work. think of it like how a rock band finds out it could be cooler to be called nirvana than cobain n grohl.
